New concepts for intelligent living and working in Europe’s cities (mySMARTLife)

In mySMARTLife, 150 solutions were developed in the lighthouse cities of Hamburg, Nantes and Helsinki to transform cities into more sustainable, inclusive and environmentally friendly places and to reduce CO2 emissions in cities. The use of renewable energy sources, mobility measures and digital urban platforms contributed to this. The solutions developed were replicated in the follower cities of Bydgoszcz, Rijeka and Palencia.

Steinbeis Europa Zentrum was responsible for communication and public relations in the Smart City project mySMARTLife. However, it also took care of the intellectual property, the dissemination and exploitation of project results and the development of business models, and drew up an exploitation plan. It developed a project website, set up social media activities and other promotional materials, press releases, videos, web seminars, workshops, conferences.

The exploitation activities focused on the industry partners in the participating cities and their needs, challenges and possible solutions. The applied exploitation methodology of the Steinbeis Europa Zentrum was divided into seven main parts focusing on IPR management, market introduction and knowledge transfer.
