Identify and understand the mechanisms behind Long Covid (LongCovid)

Worldwide, an increasing number of patients is suffering from long-term effects of COVID-19. Currently, there is still little validated knowledge on the mechanisms behind the symptoms as well as on suitable treatment methods. The EU project Long COVID will therefore conduct research dedicated to identifying and understanding these mechanisms and will simultaneously develop suitable treatment methods for patients based on the findings. In addition, the project will develop a decision support system for COVID-19 for prediction and management of Long Covid Syndrome (LCS).

Steinbeis Europa Zentrum as a project partner is responsible for communication, dissemination and exploitation of the project results.
