eHealth Hub projectSMEs in the field of eHealth gain access to funding and commercialisation
Thanks to electronic and digital services, patients prospectively will be more involved in deciding on therapies and medications as well as in obtaining information about effects and side effects. They help doctors and nurses with diagnosis and therapy, communication with patients, and database maintenance.
Companies from the eHealth field received support from the EU through the eHealth Hub project to position themselves in the market and raise their profile. They were also able to take advantage of legal and regulatory advice and participate in workshops on business models.
A total of 650 companies were reached on an international level. Over 400 companies received support in developing their business models, as well as in accessing financing, commercialization and advice on legal aspects. A total of 45 events and training sessions were held.
Steinbeis Europa Zentrum alone conceptualized and carried out ten roadshows, which were attended by 88 SMEs. Innovative companies were given the opportunity to present their products and services in short presentations to a committee of high-ranking experts, interested parties and potential customers, thus increasing their visibility in the market.
The digital platform, which serves the function of "yellow pages" for digital health, was used by over 900 stakeholders.
