Smart, Social, SustainableInternational Congress for the European Danube Strategy

4th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region | October 29-30, 2015 | Ulm 

In 2015, Baden-Württemberg hosted the annual forum of the European Strategy for the Danube Region. The forum is the politically most important congress in the Danube region and around 1,200 international guests came to Ulm. It dealt with the topics of innovation, training, dual education, entrepreneurship and civil society as key factors for sustainable and integrative growth in the Danube region. 

In four thematic blocks and more than 30 workshops, the participants exchanged ideas and were able to contribute to the strategic development of the Danube region.  Steinbeis Europa Zentrum supported the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg significantly in the preparation and implementation of the two-day conference.
