Smart Cities Marketplace at Smart City Expo World Congress

The Smart Cities Marketplace team is happy to announce that we are again part of the Smart City Expo World Congress, the world’s biggest and most influential event for cities and urban innovation, which will take place from 5-7 November 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Smart Cities Marketplace on behalf of the European Commission is coordinating this year’s joint EC representation of about 20 partners such as initiatives, projects, and DGs at the Smart Cities Expo World Congress.

Held in Barcelona since 2011, Smart City Expo World Congress is the world’s biggest and most influential event for cities and urban innovation. Every year, leaders gather from the most innovative companies, governments and organisations to move cities towards a better future. The goal is to collectivise urban innovation across the globe and empower cities to face the critical challenges the world faces today. The Smart city Expo World Congress is on a mission to accelerate a brighter urban paradigm towards green, efficient and thriving cities that leave no one behind.
