Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Baden-WürttembergEnvironmental Technology Awards Ceremony Baden-Württemberg 2025

Since 2009, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy of Baden-Württemberg has honoured outstanding innovations with the Environmental Technology Award on a biennial basis, recognising their contribution to resource efficiency and environmental protection. The ceremonial presentation of the Environmental Technology Award Baden-Württemberg took place on 11 November 2025 at the Schwabenlandhalle in Fellbach. Steinbeis Europa Zentrum was responsible for the comprehensive organisational implementation of the event.

Its responsibilities included communication with and management of applicants across the five award categories, as well as the graphic design of the application documents for the preliminary jury and the jury. Steinbeis also designed the certificates for winners and nominees and prepared the submission documentation for the jury, which consisted of subject-matter experts and State Secretary Dr Andre Baumann. In addition, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum selected the event venue in close coordination with the Ministry and managed arrangements for catering, stage design, technical equipment and furnishings. The scope of services further included the selection and support of the event moderation, participant and speaker management, and the support of award winners and nominees.

Another key focus was the concept development and implementation of video interviews with the award winners, in which they presented their award-winning products and services.

The event featured a diverse programme, including the award ceremony in the four categories “Energy Efficiency”, “Material Efficiency and Resource Conservation”, “Circular Economy and Prevention of Environmental Impacts”, and “Digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Measurement, Control and Automation Technology”, a keynote address by Prof. Dr Thomas Hirth (KIT), a high-level panel discussion, and a performance by juggler Christoph Rummel. A get-together and the presentation of certificates to the nominees concluded an inspiring evening for the environmental technology sector.
