Sustainable Places 2025

Sustainable Places (SP25) features topics that are shaping how we think about cities and the built environment. The event, organised by R2M Solution, is open to all topics related to building sustainability and most often reflects priorities described in the European Commission Societal Challenge.

Sustainability targets and climate change objectives cannot be met without addressing buildings and the built environment at the building, district and urban scale to include our transport and energy infrastructures.

Renowned for showcasing results coming out of the EU Horizon 2020 and EU Horizon Europe Framework Programmes via the participation of cutting-edge research and innovation projects, the scope of Sustainable Places is captured directly in its name.

It involves designing, building and retrofitting the places we live and work in a more sustainable way.

For the first time, SP is very proud to present a dedicated brochure outlining the SP25 Thematic Tracks. These curated sessions aim to be the scientific and collaborative heart of the conference, hosted in Milan’s Monte Rosa 91 auditorium and designed to connect research, policy, and market actors around urgent sustainability challenges.

Each session is a unique opportunity to engage with real-world case studies, institutional stakeholders, and industry leaders, all in a high-visibility format supported by strategic sponsorships.
