Shaping the Future of Sustainable Logistics in Europe - ADMIRAL Final Event

The ADMIRAL Final Event explores how logistics can move to lower emissions, more efficient business processes, and closer collaboration while complying with current EU regulation. The event showcases ADMIRAL’s outcomes and lessons from four pilots across Europe, and opens the discussion on next steps for greener, digital and more collaborative logistics.

How can the logistics sector reduce its emissions while becoming more efficient at the same time? The EU project ADMIRAL takes on this challenge, with innovative technologies, 20 strong partners, and four hands‑on pilots across Europe. To test emission‑reduced logistics services and demonstrate the platform, pilot projects were implemented in four regions: Portugal–Spain, Slovenia–Croatia, Lithuania, and Finland.

As project partner, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum supported the activities through project communication, including promoting project activities and results to researchers, logistics end-users such as cargo owners, but also to non-professional audiences, raising awareness on the importance of greening logistics and pushing for a transition of the sector.
