Deep Tech Atelier 2026

Deep Tech Atelier 2026 is one of Northern Europe’s leading conferences for science‑based entrepreneurship, bringing together startups, investors, corporates, researchers and policy makers to accelerate the commercialisation of breakthrough technologies. The event will take place on 14–15 May 2026 in Riga, Latvia.

The INNOVATE‑EU project coordinated by Steinbeis Europa Zentrum will take part in Deep Tech Atelier 2026 and actively support startups in showcasing their innovations, building international connections and exploring new market and collaboration opportunities at European level.

A central part of the conference is the Deep Tech Atelier Startup Pitch Competition, which offers early‑stage deep tech startups the opportunity to pitch live on stage in front of international investors, corporate representatives and innovation experts. Startups from fields such as AI, ICT, MedTech, Biotech, Energy, Materials Science and Defence Technologies are invited to apply.

The pitch programme combines professional training formats with dedicated pitching sessions, jury feedback and networking opportunities. Selected startups will benefit from increased visibility, direct access to investors and industry leaders, and tailored matchmaking within the European deep tech ecosystem.

INNOVATE-EU invites selected startups to take the Growth stage at one of Europe's leading deep tech events on 15 May.

What’s in it for startups?
Selected participants will have the opportunity to:

• Pitch in a dedicated session at Deep Tech Atelier

• Receive travel support of up to €500
• Gain visibility at one of Europe’s leading deep tech events

In addition, startups may:

• Compete in the Startup Pitch Competition
• Showcase their product or prototype in the Demo Zone
• Advance from the semifinals to the main stage final
