EU project Mobilities For EUSteinbeis Europa Zentrum produces video for EU project MOBILITIES FOR EU - Innovative climate-friendly and digital mobility solutions in Dresden and Madrid

The MOBILITIES FOR EU project is paving the way for smarter, more sustainable cities through digital innovation and collaborative mobility solutions. 29 partners want to accelerate the transition towards green urban mobility in seven European cities. They aim to contribute significantly to the cities’ transformation towards climate neutrality.
With a focus on climate-neutral urban transport, the project has now launched its brand-new introduction video, offering a clear and engaging overview of its mission and key initiatives. The video has been produced by Steinbeis Europa Zentrum , who is project partner for communication and dissemination of the project activities and results.
A Vision for Smarter, Greener Cities
MOBILITIES FOR EU is dedicated to demonstrating how forward-thinking, digitally supported mobility solutions can transform urban life. The project brings together technology providers, municipalities, researchers, and citizens to create scalable, people-centered transport solutions.
Spotlight on the Lead Cities: Madrid & Dresden
The video highlights the 10 innovative use cases being tested in the project’s two Lead Cities:
Madrid: Focuses on efficient mobility solutions to reduce traffic congestion, nearby bus facilities to enhance the area’s overall transport efficiency and the improvement of energy and waste management.
Dresden: Implements flexible e-charging via charging robots, automated connected driving, the development of traffic and business models, the electrification and automation of the public bus fleet and configurable e-cars.

With cities worldwide striving for climate neutrality, the MOBILITIES FOR EU project serves as a blueprint for innovation. The new video provides a glimpse into how digital transformation and collaborative efforts can make cities more livable, efficient, and environmentally friendly.

Five Replication Cities – Ioannina (Greece), Trenčin (Slovakia), Espoo (Finland), Gdansk (Poland), and Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) – intend to replicate the Lead Cities' processes, designing their own adaptations for the tested solutions. MOBILITIES for EU is funded under the framework of Horizon Europe – the European Commission’s research and innovation funding programme- with 24,7 million euros, 01/2024 – 12/2028. Participating countries with 29 partners are Bosnia & Herzegovina, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Poland, Swizzerland, Slovakia and Spain.
